breast health program

PWN offers and connects women to free or low-cost preventative healthcare services are sensitive to the diverse needs of women. Partnering with the Puget Sound Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Washington Breast and Cervical Health Program, PWN can connect uninsured and underinsured women to yearly health exams and mammograms in Island, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish and Whatcom Counties. PWN connects eligible people to the Washington Basic Food Education Program. PWN will provide applications and assistance to clients wishing to receive information on food assistance in their local community.

PWN publishes PWNews a free newsletter that addresses issues concerning women's health and disease prevention.

Positive Women's Network offers HIV trainings that meet licensing requirements for a variety of professions. In addition, PWN coordinates other classes, presentations, conferences, and educational events concerning women's health and wellness.
